The original building was an old Turkish inn. In 1976, a team led by arch. Kamen Goranov (arch. Kamen Goranov Bebinov, 1925-1985), and engineers Nikola Mindov, Georgi Ivanov, and Kiril Beazov carried out an adaptation, turning it into a creative base of the SBH - Varna group. The property is corner between "Krali Marko" and "Kozloduy" streets. The building is located on street regulation. The adjacent building from the east is built on a shield. The main approach is from the North. On Krali Marko Street, the building has a high plinth and one floor. On "Kozloduy" street, the building is high - almost a full floor plinth and two floors. The building has a massive construction. Parts of the basement floor remain from the original stone building, and the building above it is a reconstruction. The mezzanine structures and the roof are wooden, and the walls are made of brick. The original cell planar structure is preserved, although not completely. The volume and facade treatment of the original building has been completely preserved. Advertising elements are hung on part of the ground floor, as well as above it. These parasitic elements need to be moved. The facade looks derelict.

Regardless of the fact that a large part of the building is a reconstruction based on authentic data, it is a representative of one of the oldest layers of the city's architecture, namely - the Black Sea Revival residential building from the 19th century. Arch. Goranov is the doyenne of highly qualified specialists in the field of cultural heritage preservation. Regardless of some compromises in purely scientific and architectural terms, which are the fruit of the time in which he worked, his restored Renaissance buildings are still a sustainable example of preservation in the 70s of the 20th century. In the same direction, even if there is a deviation from the original and the current criteria for restoration and conservation, the "House of the Artist - Varna" complex is material evidence of the beginning of the national policy of preservation and protection of the city's architectural heritage.
