Center for children with special needs at the "Karin Dom" Foundation

The building was built for Dr. Stanchov's villa in 1907. The building is located in a large yard and is freely built in relation to the neighboring buildings. The main approach is from the yard. It consists of two floors and an attic. The building is of massive construction. The floors and roof are made of wooden construction.

The facade on the sea side is composed of several volumes that have been added over the years. The one on the left is part of the old villa. It consists of a covered gallery on two floors with masonry rocker arches. The second floor is partially covered by the eaves of a new roof. The next volume on the right has a trapezoidal plan and has a bay window on one wall. There is one window on each facet of the facade. The next volume is read as a new construction and is three stories high, including the old attic. It's a stairwell. On the far right is a two-story house with three windows per floor with massive stone frames. This volume is hot-connected to the stairwell. The entire building has been renovated. There is a completed part between the existing buildings, which unites them into one building and plays the role of a communication node. Windows and roof have been replaced.

The facade is in good condition. Despite numerous later changes in the planning scheme and the overall volume of the site, due to the presence of the original project, the building is an important testimony in scientific, typological and historical terms for the history and way of organizing the life of one of the most significant families to this day not only for Varna but also on a national scale – the Stanchov family.

In terms of style, the building was designed and executed in the not very common trend of the Secession - national romanticism. In terms of town planning, the site, together with the adjacent landscaped yard, is a beautiful example of a suburban villa.
