Administrative building

The building was probably built in the second half of the 19th century. Located on the street regulation, with two side shields. There are two more buildings on the property. The building was built with a residential-commercial function, consisting of a ground floor and a main floor. There is no archival data for the original distribution. The facade is symmetrical, with four arched openings on the ground floor and five openings on the first floor. Archival photo-documentation testifies that access was made through two of the openings in the ground floor, and probably a separate staircase led to the floor.

The stone construction with the characteristic arched openings, the sun rosettes and the inscription in Arabic above the keystone of the central opening on the second floor, allow the hypothesis that the building dates from the second half of the 19th century. In the 70s-80s of the 20th century. the building has been restored and incorporated into a new structure together with a modern building with public functions. Access is no longer directly from the street. In place of the former wooden balcony, a balcony with a concrete floor, stepping on metal rails, was made, new joinery and metal bars for the windows were made. The construction of the building has massive bearing stone walls. The original mezzanine floor and roof structures were wooden. It is necessary to study the structural changes made during the restoration and adaptation of the 70-80s of the XX century.

The building is a representative of the few preserved examples of the type of commercial-residential stone buildings from the second half of the 19th century. The site is a witness not only to the architectural typology and language, but also to the scale of construction from the era. Its significance as a single Indisputable cultural value is combined with its ensemble significance for the appearance of Drazki Street from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
