Varna railway station is among the first in Bulgaria. It was opened on March 3, 1925. Railway Reception Buildings in Varna and Burgas are the same in their architectural decision and differ only in some details of the author's project - the Burgas construction is run by arch. Nikola Kostov, and in Varna - by arch. Kiril Marichkov.
