Година на построяване
1912 - 1932
The building of the Varna Theater was built on the basis of a competitive project by Arch. Nikola Lazarov. On March 26, 1912, the foundation stone was laid with a speech by Mayor Ivan Tserov. The initial offensive was followed by a brief lull, but in 1927 the construction activities of the building have been restored and some changes have been made to the planning scheme by Arch. Dabko Dabkov. The construction was completed by the city architect Zhelyazko Bogdanov. The building was opened on June 5, 1932.The building is located on the town square, in a corner property with a specific shape, which determines the plan. The main entrance, located on the corner to the square, leads to a large elliptical lobby and a representative lobby on the second floor. From there, public access to the main stage is ensured. The building ends with an attic roof, an oval dome above the lobby and four small domes at the corners above the staircase corridors.
