Аdministrative building

The Grand Hotel “New York” building was built in 1926 by arch. G. Kostov. The unique layout of volume structure is determined from the square to the former "city garden". The exquisite sculptural decoration is work of the sculptor Kiril Shivarov from Varna.The building was originally made for a sanatorium - a private health center of dr. D. Shishkov - a famous surgeon from Varna and an obstetrician-gynecologist. In 1936, part of the building have been reconstructed at the Hotel “New York”. Hotel is known to the citizens for its perfect conditions and comfort. After many years of use by  the NSSI (National Social Security Institute), the building has been restored and today is a private administrative building.
